The Asia-Pacific flyways stretch from Eastern Siberia and the North American Arctic down to Oceania. It includes critically important wetlands for migratory waterbirds, such as the Yellow Sea. This is the world’s largest intertidal mudflat ecosystem and features UNESCO World Heritage sites in the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea. We support the activities of the Asian Waterbird Census and collaborate with the Central Asian Flyway Action Plan and the East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership.
